Wellbeing Sessions Prove a Great Success at the BB Museum

The Boys’ Brigade East Antrim Battalion Heritage Society is delighted to share the success of our recent wellbeing sessions held at the museum in Carrickfergus.

These sessions have provided a welcoming and supportive space for visitors and volunteers to reflect, connect, and take time out for their own mental and emotional wellbeing. Through conversation, gentle activity, and engagement with our heritage collections, participants have enjoyed a calm and positive environment focused on wellbeing and community connection.

Feedback has been extremely encouraging, with many highlighting how valuable it has been to have a space that combines history, reflection, and personal wellbeing in such a meaningful way. The sessions have helped strengthen community ties while also offering practical support for positive mental health.

We are grateful to everyone who took part and to those who helped deliver and support the sessions. Your involvement has made a real difference.

Following this success, we are now exploring opportunities to build on the programme and offer further wellbeing-focused activities in the future as part of our ongoing community work.
