Our Goals

The Boys' Brigade East Antrim Battalion Heritage Society (BBEABHS) has been based at 31a High Street, Carrickfergus, since 4th October 2023, and will remain there throughout 2025.

While this location provides a valuable base, it is not permanent, and we are working diligently to secure a permanent home for our collection and activities.

The Society was formed on 1st August 2019 after the closure of two BB companies. Mr. Drew Buchanan began collecting memorabilia, laying the foundation for the Society's mission to preserve and share BB heritage. To date, we have recorded and photographed over 2,700 pieces of memorabilia, safeguarding them for future generations.

Over the past few years, we have held exhibitions in Larne, Ballyclare, and Carrickfergus to engage the community with BB heritage.

Although we no longer operate as a mobile museum, we are available to set up exhibitions upon request.

We can accommodate visitors in the evening by appointment.

Support for our long-term vision of establishing a permanent base is vital to ensure BB heritage continues to be cherished and shared.
