BB Museum Launches Fundraising Campaign to Keep Doors Open

The Boys' Brigade Museum at 31 High Street, Carrickfergus, is launching a vital fundraising campaign to secure its future.

This campaign will kick off on Saturday, 1st February 2025, as we seek to raise the funds necessary to keep our museum open and preserve over 140 years of BB history for generations to come.

Since opening, the museum has become a hub of historical significance, showcasing memorabilia and sharing the inspiring story of The Boys' Brigade.

However, maintaining the museum's operation requires ongoing funding to cover rent, utilities, and the development of new exhibitions and projects.

"Our museum is more than just a collection of artifacts; it's a tribute to the incredible legacy of The Boys' Brigade and its impact on communities worldwide," said Drew Buchanan MBE, Chair of the Charity. "This fundraising campaign is crucial to ensure we can continue preserving and sharing this heritage."

The campaign will include various fundraising events throughout the year, and supporters can also donate through our JustGiving page, click here or by visiting the museum in person.

Every contribution, big or small, will make a difference.
We invite everyone-former members, families, and supporters of The Boys' Brigade-to join us in this mission.

Visit us, donate, or spread the word to help keep this vital piece of history alive.

For more information or to donate, visit our website at or email us at heritage@bbeab.org

Let's work together to safeguard this important legacy.

Notes to Editors: " The BB Museum is open Tuesday to Saturday 10-12 and 2-4pm showcasing a variety of exhibitions, including memorabilia from the past 140 years.
