Celebrating 5 Years of The Boys’ Brigade East Antrim Battalion Heritage Society

Thursday, August 1, 2024, will be remembered for the grand celebration of The Boys’ Brigade East Antrim Battalion Heritage Society's 5th Anniversary.
The event was marked with festive balloons, a delightful cake, and the launch of a new exhibition at Rathmore House, home to the BB for 50 years.
The Mayor of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council arrived early, greeted by Walter Lambe, Secretary and Trustee of the charity.

As the public began to arrive, tea was served, food was well received, and donations started flowing in.
The celebration continued from 2-8pm with tea and coffee being served continuously.
The cake was quickly devoured, with Cheryl Brownlee MLA managing to secure the last slice.
Our special 5th Birthday mug was on display, with a few finding new homes with attendees.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came from near and far to support us.
The museum continues to welcome visitors on High Street, Carrickfergus.
We are open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am-12pm and 2-4pm.
We also offer evening openings for groups; please email heritage@bbeab.org for details.
