Mayor to Visit BB Museum as We Mark Two Years in Shop Premises

On Friday 3rd October, we will be delighted to welcome the Mayor of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council to the BB Museum as we celebrate our second year in shop premises in Carrickfergus.

This is a fantastic milestone for a small charity that relies entirely on the dedication of its volunteers, the generosity of the public, and the support of grants. Over the past two years, the museum has continued to grow and develop, and we are proud to report that our collection now includes over 2,900 individual articles of memorabilia relating to the 140-year history of The Boys’ Brigade.

The museum truly is going from strength to strength, and this visit by the Mayor is a welcome recognition of the hard work of our volunteers and the value of preserving and sharing BB heritage with the wider community.

We look forward to celebrating this occasion with our supporters and visitors, and to continuing our mission of keeping Boys’ Brigade history alive for generations to come.
