Heritage Society to re-open in January 2024

The Boys' Brigade East Antrim Battalion Heritage Society has today, 15th December 2023 announced the 140th Anniversary exhibition will re-open on 16th January 2024 at 10am on the High Street, Carrickfergus.

Mr Drew Buchanan, Chair of the charity stated "I am delighted that we can announce an extension to our three month exhibition in Carrickfergus. We are thankful for grant funding we have received and the generosity of members of the public viewing our exhibitions. The museum will be reorganised with some items not previously seen being put on display. We look forward to the continued support of our volunteers and the public. Entry to the museum is free but the charity welcome donations to help with the expense of leasing the premises."

The East Antrim Battalion Heritage Society was formed in August 2019 with the aim: to make sure The Boys' Brigade East Antrim Battalion heritage is cherished, understood, shared, and enjoyed with pride by everyone. To that end our vision is having premises to display our museum exhibition.
